We are excited and blessed to have you involved in this mission with us.  Thank you!

Our friend Brian asked the other day what fears do you have? Doesn't seem to be very faith filled to have fears. Well...we have plenty. We have been told that Rift Valley Academy may be one of the easiest places to go in Africa in terms of culture shock. Still we worry. Why? Relying on our own strength is the likely culprit. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, not at all. Instead we are excited to get there and serve. Prayer is the thing that will keep the fears at bay and fill us with the boldness we desire. Prayer support is the number one thing we need.

One of the best things about being... well, old, is that you have lessons you have learned along the way to call on. When we learned God doesn't need our money he wants our hearts, it was revolutionary. Your treasure is a tangible sign of where your heart is. We want your heart with us. Us serving is so much better if it is the collective US. We get to go for our friends and family that have loved us for the first 6 decades of our lives. We get to reflect Christ to different believers on a different continent. Not more important than the preschoolers and middle schoolers we work with now, just farther away and logistically more challenging.
